Kevonte White Obituary, Death – 27-Year-Old Fatally Shot in West Louisville Shooting
The Louisville community is mourning the tragic death of 27-year-old Kevonte White, who was killed following a shooting incident on Saturday afternoon in west Louisville.
According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded around 4:26 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 4400 block of West Broadway, near South 44th Street, between the Chickasaw and Shawnee neighborhoods. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency responders provided immediate medical assistance at the scene before transporting the victim to UofL Hospital in critical condition. Despite efforts by medical staff to save his life, he was later pronounced dead.
On Sunday, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office officially identified the victim as Kevonte White, confirming the identity of the man who lost his life in the violent incident.
